Christmas brought a very nice gift, pedals and cycling shoes (with cleats). I mounted them on the bike the day after Christmas and took them for a ride. They were nice.
While riding home from work today, I had to wait while a car turned ahead of me. While waiting, I fell over...
When I fell, I was still about 7 miles from home, so I had plenty of time to work through the bruising and battering that had just happened to my knee. It always seems so comical when someone falls over on their bicycle in TV shows, but the comedy was lost on me when I was picking myself up from the ground after the "tip over incident".
